Do you remember this hit from the 80’s?
I love Duran Duran — Simon was and is my favorite. Who was your favorite?
Just wanted to reach out to some of the people who have helped out in the past reunions and wanted to help out for the next reunion in 2010.
If you are still interested, please let me know. Once we get a list of who would like to help out, then we can find a way to talk to each other.
All that would be involved in being on the reunion committee is:
Take on one or two tasks regarding the reunion
(I’m sure I am forgetting a few things.)
And then at the reunion, we need everyones help with registration, taking pictures and host/hostess and what ever else might come up.
There has been some talk about having an All 80’s AHS Reunion. Would anyone be interested in that? Once I find out any information on that, I will pass it along.
So what I need beside knowing if you want to be apart of the committee, is your current contact information. And being apart of the committee, your names will be added to the website (still off-line, will be up soon) and the Ainsworth 1985 Blog (https://ainsworth1985.wordpress.com/). That way we can get the information out to more people and get a great turn out for our 25th Class Reunion.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
A blog for the long-lost residents of Flint, Michigan By Gordon Young
Where Are You?
Flint has suffered a massive population exodus over the years. If you’re from Flint but now living somewhere else, you’ve probably experienced the mixture of excitement and sadness you feel when you run into somebody from Flint in Portland or Miami or San Francisco or Little Rock or Alaska. (OK, some of the people you run into from Flint induce a little fear, as well, but that just reminds you of home.) Sometimes it seems like Flint residents are everywhere…except Flint…
This blog is just a way to pass along news from Flint and, I hope, for Flint expatriates to connect.
If you get a chance, take a look at this site and take a trip back to how Flint was when we were young.
