Subject: Kaitlyn’s accident
Many of you may already know but for those of you who do not, Kaitlyn and Ericka were in a serious ORV accident on Sunday evening up at Black Lake where they have spent most of their summer having the time of their life. Well, unfortunately that came to a screeching hault. Ericka was driving the ORV and went to turn around on the gravel road and the ORV tipped over. Kaitlyn’s instinct was to put out her right leg and arm to stop her fall. They both had seat belts on thank God. Kaitlyn’s right foot was severely injured and she fractured her right hand in two places. She had to be airlifted by plane down to U of M Children’s hospital in Ann Arbor. She’s had one 4hr. surgery so far and her foot is in BAD SHAPE. We would love to hear your thoughts and prayers. Kaitlyn is being a real trooper let me tell ya. I am soo proud of her. She’s having another surgery tomorrow to do some more cleaning and repairing so I’ll post another message tomorrow. It would mean so much to her to hear from all who care about her.
